We're beginning to settle in a bit. I'm putting together a play room for Hannah on the first floor (most of her toys were in our finished basement before) so I don't have to keep going up and down the stairs with both of the kids.

Hannah is quickly learning that Isaac takes up some of my time. She wants me to hold her more and is throwing way more temper tantrums. I think that's the hardest part for me right now. I continue to reassure her that I love her just as much as I did before Isaac came home. Tonight Hannah and I went to Beaner's together while Jason stayed with Isaac. We had a little Hannah/Mommy time and it was fun for both of us.

We've had dinner together at the table two days in a row and I'm loving it. I broke the rules today and took Isaac to the grocery store. I couldn't help it! I really wanted to get some groceries. It was wonderful. Cucumbers, romaine lettuce, deli meat, asparagus...heavenly. And it was so nice to see my produce guy--I used to see him every Thursday morning when Hannah and I would go shopping. The last time I saw him was the week before we left for Ohio. Just a little thing but it felt good to have some "normalcy".

Gotta get to bed. Isaac needs to eat every three hours and midnight is right around the corner!

Goodnight.

Talk about normalcy!! Hannah and her reaction!! Just keep doing what you are doing and time will do what is also normal. She will soon realize that Isaac is a part of all of your lives. She is two going on three, these are tough times for these little ones as you know! Isaac looks like he is letting you know he is there to in the picture. How cute!

AS you know be sure and clean your hands good after touching the handles of the grocery cart before touching "little bit". I tend to forget to do it when I get home from the stores. I did not realize but should have how unsanitary those handles are until I saw a story on t.v. I notice that our Krogers have a unit with cleaners by the carts so you can clean them.

Getting grocerys is a fun thing after several months of not getting to do it. It will get to be old hat again soon.

Well back to bed where it is warm as I have my electric blanket on. You know me!!!

HI to all and Lots of Love, Gram

Hey - it's only been a couple of days but boy do I miss you and Hannah here at RMDH. I love the picture of Isaac - it is hilarious - he's so cute! I can't even imagine grocery shopping and cooking meals - isn't it odd that after so long we actually look forward to some of the daily chores just to feel normal again? I am so glad you are finding time to blog & that everything is going well.
Love ya,
Jeannie

Say a prayer for us. We are being shown for 4 situations right now. I was told the agency called my referral service and specifically asked if we were still available! They were the ones we were matched with the baby that had spina bifida. That fell through but they remembered us. The babies are all in GA and all due in the next 5 weeks! There is a big concern about ICPC with GA though and we are waiting for word about if adoption is possible in these situations with that state. I have been sick with waiting so I am calling on your whole prayer team!! Thanks everyone!!
Isaac is going to be a big boy. You can tell. He looks like a mini football player. Oh thank God he is home. Man, once he decided to stop messing around getting sick, he sure got down to business. -Sherry

Ahhh yes, Sibling Rivalry --- I remember it well. My daughter, Traci, was so upset when my son was born. She was about 2 yrs. old and she used to bite him when I turned my back and she would throw toys at him!! I finally had to talk to our pediatrician about it and he said it was "normal" and she'd get over it in time -- and she did.

That last picture of Isaac is so funny -- he looks like a feisty little guy. The look on his face sure made me laugh.

I keep remembering how touch and go it was for Isaac for a while there and seeing what a little miracle he is. Well, it just makes my faith in God stronger than ever. Amazing!
Love & hugs, Terri

You actually have snow? UNFAIR!!! I want some, too. But living at the Baltic Sea we only get rain...it's like living IN the sea :/

Ah well, I am glad you guys are getting back to normal.

So new things hmm? Uhmm...I am taking a test in my gramar class on Monday. And it shouldn't be too bad. Plus I am having a little difficulty soeaking American English XD I am pronouncing things more and more like the BRitsh do. Which is not bad actually since I wanna move there. So I am adjusting, again...Maybe I'll just learn to do different accents. I quite like that. You know...playing around with accents. Reading my books aloud and pretending to be someone else.

Anyway...have fun with both your boys and Hannah. Isn't that cute? Talking about "your guys"?

Love, Maxi

Hey Sherry we are praying that something will come out of all of this and hopefully it will be simpler than Tiff and Jason has had it. Hey there prayer warriors lets get going on this for SHerry!!

hey there Jane/Jane love the electric blanket and "thanks" I do enjoy it but there are times that I have a "hot" flash and have to turn it off or a while then back on. Apparently you are not there yet!! Hey these kids will know what we are talking about, right NANA!!

Well getting back to the important stuff it sounds like "little bit" is doing great. It also sounds like Tiff is adjusting as she knows how to do. Needless to say we are still just "Praiseing the Lord for His graciousness and love" Isaac is "HOME". That is the most important thing!!

Christ's Love to all, Gram and Papa.
