The Repository

One of Jason's co-workers in Lansing, MI contacted the local paper in Canton about our family. A journalist contacted us this week to talk about our journey here. We were humbled to see it made the front page news this morning. You can read the story in The Repository, at www.cantonrep.com
As of this morning, Isaac is still stable. He has been placed on an oscillator which gives him maximum breathing support. It is a bit of a setback, medically, but he is alive. For that, we are very thankful.

Tiff, you would be proud of me. I did a search and found the article on my own to copy before your post. See, you can teach an old mom new tricks!!!!My thanks to the Canton Repository for their great article. The more that are aware of your unfolding situation the better, as Gram would say PTL! Please check with Aunt Nancy about the Life flight thing that was made available to Tony, she may be able to help you make some connections for more info. Just thinking out loud. Love Mom

Hi Tiffany, Jason, and Hannah,
What a great article! That would be awesome to have some football hall of famers' autographs! We are praying for you guys--what a scare with Isaac. I can't even imagine how difficult that was for you. We will continue to pray for his health and improvement. We love you! Amy, Bryan, Eli and Silas

Hi Tiffany, Its Tracy Zdelar, I called you at the hotel, I have the two Nicu graduates from Aultman. I have attended some of their Preemie support group meetings in the past and I'm a familiar face there to some of the nurses. Anyways, I just wanted to offer whatever help I can, I know what you are going through to some extent. Call me and we can talk more! 330-456-2302 or email at
tracyzdelar@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Hi there,
We're praying for your here, in Dalton OH (about 15 minutes west of Aultman). OUr three sons are all adopted and black/american, ages 4, 2, and 9 months.
If you need a respite for Hannah, we'd be happy to help out (park play or mcdonalds playland sort of thing).

Oh, I should mention we have open adoptions with our birthmoms also (unusual with the innercity birthmoms). We talk to each other on the phone all the time, exchange text messages a lot and I send packages of cookies, bulk foods (from the amish/Menno stores here) and pictures when I get a spare moment.

I just wanted to say HELLO and that we will be praying for you and your amazing family! We read your article in the paper today, we live in Massillon, down the road from Canton really. We are also an adoptive family but we chose International Adoption. Our son is biological but we could not have more children so we adopted our daughter from Guatemala and she came home this past January. I will have to follow your story and please, if you need any advice or help while here in Canton please let me know. You can check out my blog, we have one as well. Many blessings to you!

Tiffany & Jason, First off, congratulations on your adoption of little Issac!! I'm the mom of a 32 weeker, Benjamin, who is now 16 months (14 corrected). I'm part of the preemie support group that meets at Aultman (also where I had Ben) once a month. If you guys are still in town during our next meeting (August 8th, I believe, at 7pm), you should join us. We'd love to have you!! Our leader, Katie (last name withheld), I'm sure, would love to meet with you. We're a wonderful source of support. And welcome to Ohio (even if only for a short time)!

Hi Tiffany, Jason and Hannah:

I have no idea what you are going through. I was blessed with three biological children none premature. You and Jason are two remarkable people and Hannah and Issac are very lucky to have you as parents. I wish your family much happiness in the years to come, and I will keep Issac and all of you in my prayers. Sandy Moeglin
