Yesterday and Today

Yesterday, I forgot to report that Hannah and I went to the Cleveland Children's Museum. We received some free passes while we were there so I think Daddy will be taking Hannah again this weekend. It was a bit of an off day for both Hannah and I yesterday--we weren't there long. It was fun, though.

Isaac is the same. I met his physical therapist today and she showed me how to massage him. It's actually pretty involved. So, I bought him some gel oil today at Target and might try it tomorrow. He will meet with his physical therapist more and more as he continues to grow. We'll also have a physical therapist and occupational therapist once we go home. This extreme preemie stuff is pretty involved. I had no idea back in July when I made that initial phone call. Little buddy. He's turned our world upside down and I'm so glad he did.

Jason will be here late tomorrow afternoon. Hannah and I are very excited.

My Papa is still in the hospital. Some other complications have come up so we'll see how he's doing tomorrow.

Hannah and I ventured out to a different Target today. Target is like an excursion for us. She always gets her smoothie and I usually pick out a few things from the dollar section. Today, I found a pair of pumpkin socks for Isaac for Halloween. He's needing clothes, now, but I can't find preemie stuff anywhere! And he's still way too small for anything else. I'll keep looking.

Thank you for praying for my family and friends. What a joy to have a virtual community to support us. Really, I lean on all of you for love and support. Being here alone can get very lonely and I always look forward to hearing from those of you who comment.

preemie.com has micro preemie clothes (0-3 lbs) as well as 3-5 lbs and up. I did order a few things here. Also, I've found Walmart has the best preemie selection as far as department stores go.

The pictures of Hannah the last couple of days have been just too precious for words!! And little Isaac looks like he's getting very kissable cheeks! Praying for your family....

Tiffany,
I have three preemie nephews and my sister has given me all of their clothes to give out at work. I still have quite a few. Can I send them to you at the Ronald McDonald House? They are pretty cute and practical for the NICU. They would be fine since little guys like him grow so quickly out of them. Wal-Mart also has a great little line of preemie outfits for around 3-7 dollars each....just a thought...
Praying..

We bought some good stuff at the Children's Store and they had amazing prices on the sales stuff. $3 and $4 dollars. Also, I think we went to Younkers and possibly Kohls - both pretty inexpensive.

Good morning,

Hey we will say again love the pictures of the kids. I haven't had my coffee yet so I am slow on the uptake. My fingers do not want to work right. Vanilla flavored!!

We are "hoping" to bring Papa home today some time. We will know more later. Thanks to all of you that are praying for all of us, especially "little bit" (Isaac) as I affectionally call him.

I am glad that you are finding other things to do. Keep it up!!

Lots Of Love, Gram and Papa, of course.

Maybe there is a consignment shop somewhere close that you could check out. It sounds like God provided with nurse Jen's offer, though. It's nice to hear that you and Hannah can enjoy the small things like going to Target (I always enjoy the finds on the clearance section even if I don't really need what I buy). Hope you, Hannah and Jason enjoy your weekend and your time with Isaac. Continuing to pray for you all and your Papa. God Bless!

As much as it may feel like you are alone...you are not! (I too have the same feelings...husband works 7 days on/7 days off....working midnights and 10 hour shifts when he is working. We have not children in our home, and I don't work outside the home due to some health issues. So I too spend TONS of time alone. I know those shoes)

I may not be in Ohio to hug and support you physically, but do know that I am praying my heart out and pleading for God to bring help to you while you are in Cleveland.

You are such a brave young lady. God is providing you with supper human strength and courage.

you are always in my prayers,
Jane

Wow, there is so much going on over there hmm? I am glad Isaac is doing well. And I hope Papa will be up and running soon as well. If you call your Gram and Papa tell them love from me, will ya?

So...I am done. I am settled in my new home. And I like it. I just don't have my internet yet. Hopefully I'll get it on Sunday...Or Monday...SOON...that's the best way to put it :D

Love, Maxi

Do they give you a date yet where they think he might be ready to go home? I know its no time soon but 6 weeks maybe? We had our ultrasound yesterday and there was nothing there. No heartbeat, no baby, just an empty sac. :( Back to adoption. -Sherry
