Isaac got his Broviac placed yesterday. Unfortunately, he's still intubated. They said that since he's not used to the anesthetic, his body is still waiting for it to wear off. I'm a little concerned by this, but we just have to wait for his body to start breathing on its own again. We're hopeful that he's recovered enough by Tuesday to move ahead with his gut surgery.
I had a nice morning running some errands by myself. Jason and Hannah went to Meijer Gardens and then we met at the mall for lunch. Papa arrived around 2pm and we're all playing and watching MSU vs. UM.
All the while, Hannah has been sick since we returned home Tuesday night. She saw the doc yesterday and got her flu shot...just waiting for her to get back to normal. Little sweety.
A couple housekeeping items: I went back and put all of Isaac's pics back up on the blog. If you missed the earlier pics, they're all back up for your viewing pleasure!
I'm looking for someone to do a blog project for me. I need a detailed oriented person to log some medical stuff from my blog. If you have some free time and want to help me out, please email me at my personal address on the side bar at the right.
Have a great Saturday evening!

Hey Tiffany!
Its Carlee.. I know its been so long since weve spoke... Ive been trying to keep up w/ your blogs but... caring for a preemie at home is as much work as you could ever possibly imagine! You know Ive told you before & I will tell you once again... no words can prepare or make the situation seem brighter unless you truley understand... & most people dont... they can only soothe the worrie & concern of the ever lasting roller coaster ride known only by extreem preemie parents. I wish you well & hope you are holding up OK... remember one thing that helped me along the way... Issac will never remember the pain only you will... & someday very very soon it will all be a thing of the past... You will look back & think did i really just make it through that? You cant belive how strong of a person you really are until you see your actions from a distance... Keep faith my friend he will turn the corner soon & it will be amazing how quickly things move there after. Good luck & God bless...
Carlee & Abbie :)
Hey, I love this last blog as it says it all from someone that has been there and done it. Needless to say it does not ease your situation but it gives you a light in the rainbow from Heaven.
We are watching the game also!! Hey Mi. State better pick up thier game, right!! I just came in to check and get some noodles from the pantry for Chicken noodle soup. It gave me a excuse to do some checking!!
Lots of Love to you all and tell Papa Jim "HI" from us.
Gram and Papa.
Don't worry for that stuff to waer off. When my cat had her surgery on her tooth it was wearing off very slowly as well. But she's as well as ever now :) (I know...bad comparison...but I'm trying)
Have a great Sunday (At least it's Sunday here...)

Loved Carlee's post. I think she said it all...Been there, done that, and there is light after all the darkness. Our Isaac will to go home, and it will be difficult but the 4 of you will finally be together. So glad that his Bovriac is in place...one step closer to getting surgery and hopefully the healing of his gut so that he can eat and therefore come home. Seems like small steps but actually every day is a milestone. What a fighter our little Isaac is.
Glad Papa Evans is enjoying some much needed time with his favorite Granddaughter. Hannah is such a blessing to all of Grands and Great-grands. Hannah has been SO resilient during this journey and she will be a wonderful light in her baby brother's life. Just to think of her makes me smile and cry.
My love to the Evans 4 and to Jim. Let us all keep up the the good work. Love Mom(Nana)
Hey Tiffany,
just wanted to let you know that i'm praying for you and your family today. GOD IS WITH YOU and He cares about all of those little details--and big details--that are a part of your minutes...hours...days....
Kathy
Hey Tiff, its me again, Gram!! Needless to say I am thinking of you, Jason, Hannah and of course Isaac. Here I am in my messy office blogging you. I know that you "all" seem to be in a quandry as to what the "heck" is going on with "little bit". Just know that there are so many of "US" out here that is praying "almost" around the clock for all of you. As you know that is all we can do for you so "WE" are doing it. Just know that we are praying that the surgery will go on, on Tuesday and it will be a total success. We claim no sickness or disease will touch Isaac again in the Name and Blood of Jesus!!! Now it is up to Jesus to do what He does best, heal His flock no matter what. When He was on earth He did not care whether anyone was saved, cleansed or what ever he "healed" them all!! We claim this for Isaac!! Let all of you out there that agree with this do so!!! When ever two or more agree it will be granted according to the Word!!
Christ's Love and Ours Gram and Papa.
I'm a little embarrased to say that I just got your voice mail this afternoon. When you called we were at a Hummel Christmas outing. YEP, it was early this year. Anyway, I should be home tomorrow morning but not around in the afternoon. If I do not hear from you, that's fine, I will keep checking the blog.
I see that my friend Kendra contacted you! She's an amazing lady!!! I hope you can meet her soon.
Goonight. Off to bed!
