Pretty routine day here in Cleveland. I made it to rounds only to find out we don't have an answer, yet. One of the cultures is growing bacteria, but nothing has been identified, yet. There are parts of his lungs that are collapsed. I think right now we don't know what's going on. I didn't think we'd see him back on the ventilator so it's a little frustrating. He will not be having his gut surgery tomorrow. He's too sick and we don't know why so....maybe in a few weeks?! He is on antibiotics so hopefully whatever is going on will be determined or the medication will do its job. It's sad to me when he opens his eyes and looks around. I feel like he's thinking, "What the heck is going on?" Poor buddy buddy.

Jason arrived this afternoon so we went for a short visit this evening.

I've never had a problem sleeping in my entire life and the last few weeks have been horrible. I can't fall asleep, I wake up alot and wake up early. I nap some afternoons when Hannah naps and that's nice. I won't have that luxury when Isaac comes home!

Praying for y'all and the little Buddy!
They are right; God IS in control and thanks be to God He gave Isaac parents like you two to advocate and care for him(and a sister like Hannah to adore him, as well). Perfect match!!

I keep trying to post and keep losing my connection. High winds in North. Mich.

My sweet Isaac, you keep doing what you do best, fighting for your life. Happy birthday again! meaning your actual due date November 4!!! You are now officially born(?!) and need to start breathing on your own and eating and being a big boy!! I wish it was all that easy for you, and you could start doing all of that. I know that you are giving your all!! I love you and so do so many others. Your Mommy and Daddy and big Sister want to bring you home. They need to bring you home. That is where you belong... with your family. So, little Buddy you fight the big fight. I love you Isaac. XXOO Love Nana

What a really really cool day!!! It will probably be a memory for a lifetime for you. God really is in the miracle business and it is wonderful that in the midst of so much you can still see the small and yet significant miracles everyday. What amazing blessings you have been given. I have an adopted son who just turned 7. It is a process that is full of miracles and I have never forgotten any of them. Praying for you everyday in San Diego.

Blessings!!!
