Isaac is a little sweety. He slept from 11:30 last night until 5 this morning when his nurse woke him up for his breathing treatment. Hey, if they can get him sleeping through the night before he comes home, fantastic!! When we got there this morning, he was wide awake. His nurse was holding him and patting his butt like crazy. I jumped right in and...he fell asleep. Little buddy. He's doing as good as he can be and waiting for his surgery. I don't think they're going to give us a firm date, I think "maybe next week" is the closest we're going to get. A couple of you have asked about his size. He's 6 pounds 8 ounces but I don't know his length. He's a good size for not eating for so long. I can't imagine what he's going to weight once he starts eating!

Jason is heading back tomorrow at 5am and will return for Isaac's surgery next week. Someone sent a giftcard to Max & Erma's a few weeks ago so we went out for lunch today. We even had ice cream for dessert...Hannah got to pick blue whipped cream and colored sprinkles.

We're enjoying our time here, making new friends and living the life God has placed before us. We're glad to be here.

Is that a smile on that little angel's face? It looks like smiles all around from the Evans family. Max & Erma's will do that!

You are so blessed. At times this time may seem trying, but the Lord has made you a Mom not once but twice! The smile on his face shows he is so loved. May his physical condition continue to improve as the Lord continues to move through your lives

He is SOOOOOOOOO cute! How can you keep from kissing those cheeks all day long?
6 pounds is pretty good size for all he's been through. He looks like he's alert and animated, too. Once he can eat, I bet he'll skip the whole baby food thing and head right for Hannah's blue whipped cream with sprinkles :-)

Such sweet pics - of everyone, but especially Isaac. Our daughter was on a perfect 3 hour schedule while she was in the special care nursery for 18 days and decided to be a stinker and go off of it once she came home. Maybe Isaac will cooperate and make a smoother transition when he comes home. ;)

Love all of the pics. So good to see the family together, I know how much all 3 of you appreciate that. My love to all of you and kisses and hugs to the Evans 4. Everyone is praying for the best outcome of his next procedure. We need to continue to be patient with the Docs and little Buddy...they all have to be ready, willing and able! Love Mom (nana)
