Well, today was Isaac's due date. Not the best of days for him, I'm afraid. He's still on the ventilator and is showing signs of infection. Hannah and I left Grand Rapids around 6:30 this evening after we got the news. It seems like Isaac cannot catch a break. Hopefully, we'll know tomorrow exactly what kind of infection he has. Really, I don't know what else to say.

I spent three hours this morning at Beaner's with a good friend. That was heavenly. I napped a bit on the couch this afternoon while Jason worked and watched the Lions. Hannah is beginning to feel a little better after being sick all weekend. I made stirfry for dinner and at the last minute realized I forgot to make rice. Dork. Hannah helped with the vegis...it was fun.

Jason will be joining us tomorrow night. He was coming down for Isaac's surgery but I'm guessing that's not happening, now, since he's sick. We'll see what happens. It will be nice for Jason to be here for a couple days.

I'm gonna try to get some sleep.

Love to all.

Hannah looks so busy with the vegis it is cute. It is great that you are letting her help you in the kitchen. It is good practice for her and you can do things together that way.
Our prayers are for Isaac again today that the infection is a miss que and he is alright!!
Laundry day for me and I need to make a loaf of bread. I have missed my home made bread as I bought a couple of loaves and I like the texture of the home made better than the boughten!!
We will be looking forward to your next blog. About this time of the morning I know that you are usually at the hospital with "little bit".
Talk to you later,
Lots of Love, Gram and Papa

Tiffany,
I love Hannah's hair in the pics! I know I keep saying this but she looks so much like Julia and we have our days of letting it fly. You are such a great mom! I think one of the positives of all of this is the amount of quality time you are getting to spend with Hannah. Both your children will someday realize the true dedication you have to their well being! Keep up the great work and keep taking those three hour coffee breaks whenever you can. God Bless!

my prayers will be with you as I am away from the computer this week. I pray that your little guy will be infection free and have had surgery when I return.

PS....I LOVE Hannah's hair! Keep in mind I am a white girl, straight hair, and allergies to perm solution...so I would love to have her hair!

hugs to you!

Hey its Gram again and guess what I would love to have "some" of that hair also!! Needless to say I am looking forward to Isaac having his surgury this week!!! Not next week or the week after!! We will pray that all of this infection thing goes into the dumps along with Satan. Isaac will live and not die according to the scriptures and Jesus has total control, He healed them all when He lived on earth and He is the same today as He was back then.

I know that there is situations that do not go along with what I am saying but we have to remember if we "continue" to agree together Jesus has no other course other than do what He has done in the past and what He is willing to do in the future for all of us that "agree" with HIM!! Heal HIM!! Meaning Issac!! I know that I am being bold but the scriptures also says that we have not because we ask not!!

Your news is unfortunate, unlikeable, unwelcome, unthinkable but not suprising. Everytime our little Buddy has contact with invasive procedures he is at risk for infection. Isaac is a fighter and we are all warriors for him. I love you Isaac. Mom (Nana)
